Background
Babysitting the Antichrist is a short first-person adventure horror game based on a short story I developed by the same name.

The Story
Written by Elizabeth Frone

Once upon a time, a nanny named Emily eagerly accepted a babysitting gig for an adorable child named Lucy. Little did she know, Lucy was less "cute toddler" and more "tiny harbinger of doom." It started innocently enough – toys floating mid-air and Lucy rearranging alphabet blocks to spell out ominous messages.

Suspicious but determined, Emily turned into a supernatural detective. Armed with a flashlight and a Google search history filled with "how to deal with possessed toddlers," she uncovered the truth – Lucy was the neighbourhood's pint-sized Antichrist. Panicking, Emily considered quitting but realized babysitters don't come with demon-slaying clauses. Armed with baby wipes and holy water, she faced off with Lucy, who was more interested in finger painting the walls with paranormal ectoplasm.

In a comedic showdown, Emily attempted an exorcism using a baby rattle as a makeshift holy symbol. It was less "power of Christ compels you" and more "the power of naptime compels you!" Surprisingly, it worked, and Lucy's demonic tantrums were replaced with adorable giggles. In the end, Emily turned the Antichrist's playdate into a sitcom-worthy story. Lucy, now more mischief than malevolence, became the neighbourhood's pint-sized prankster. And Emily? Well, she added "demon wrangler" to her resume and earned the title of the bravest nanny in town.
