Master of Digital Media, 2025, University of British Columbia, Emily Carr University, Vancouver Community College, Centre for Digital Media, and British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Studies with Distinction, 2022, University of Calgary.

I chose to study Visual Art at the University of Calgary because I have enjoyed being creative and creating things as far back as I can remember. From drawing to painting to sculpting, to design to coding to learning languages and writing, I find joy in many different creative pursuits. My Visual Arts degree will allow me to pursue a creative lifestyle in which I will be able to enjoy what I do, and exactly what that might be is vast with possibilities.
While I am privy to many potential opportunities, specifically, I would like to pursue a career in new media: to do art for games and movies like character designs or concept art. Seeing the end credits of movies and games is extremely inspiring for me, because every single person listed has helped to create that final project, and one of those people could be me someday. Digital art and new media are topics that I have the greatest interest in. I enjoy writing stories, and as such writing and/or illustrating novels and/or comic books is another happy thought, along with designing and developing websites. Like I said, the possibilities really are quite vast with this degree, and I’m excited about many of them.
